This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information related to your use of Psylo, our privacy-focused browser for iOS and iPadOS designed to create isolated web browsing sessions (“silos”). By using Psylo, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect#

We collect only the minimal data necessary to operate the app and manage your subscription, specifically:

  • Subscription Identifier: A randomly generated unique identifier used exclusively to manage your subscription.
  • App Store Region: Information provided by Apple indicating the region associated with your App Store account used for subscription purposes. This data does not reflect your actual residence or location.
  • Bandwidth Usage: Data volume metrics (in MB) uploaded and downloaded to inform you about your monthly bandwidth consumption.
  • Timestamps: Logs recording the times data is uploaded or downloaded, used strictly for monitoring service reliability and preventing abuse.

Note: Psylo does not collect personally identifiable information (PII), IP addresses, browsing histories, or website visit logs.

3. How We Use Your Information#

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Subscription Management: To maintain and validate your subscription status using your unique subscription identifier.
  • Usage Monitoring: To provide you with bandwidth usage statistics, detect potential abuse, and monitor service integrity and performance.

4. Data Security#

Mysk implements industry-standard security practices to safeguard your data:

  • Secure Connections: Psylo routes all browsing traffic securely through the Mysk Private Proxy Network using Transport Layer Security (TLS) encryption.
  • Privacy by Design: The Mysk Private Proxy Network explicitly avoids logging IP addresses, website visits, or browsing data, and cannot decrypt the encrypted traffic between your device and visited websites.

5. Data Retention and Deletion#

  • Subscription Duration: Data collected is retained only for the active duration of your subscription.
  • Bandwidth Usage Data: Automatically deleted two months after collection.
  • After Subscription Ends: All usage data are automatically deleted two months following subscription expiration.

6. Cookies and Tracking#

Psylo does not employ cookies or any tracking mechanisms to monitor or profile user activity. Our application is designed explicitly to enhance and maintain user privacy.

7. Children’s Privacy#

Psylo is intended solely for users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect or store information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected any such information, please contact us immediately at privacy@mysk.co.
