1. Acceptance of Terms#

By accessing or using the Psylo app (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service#

Psylo is a privacy-focused browser for iOS and iPadOS developed by Mysk Inc. (“Mysk”), which creates isolated web browsing sessions known as “silos.” Each silo maintains its own private storage (including data and cookies) and connects through the Mysk Private Proxy Network, which securely routes your browsing requests via TLS-encrypted connections. Psylo subscriptions are available exclusively via Apple’s in-app purchase system.

3. Eligibility#

You must be at least 13 years old to use Psylo. To purchase a subscription or enter into a binding agreement under these Terms, you must be of legal age in your jurisdiction or have obtained parental or guardian consent.

4. In-App Subscriptions and Payments#

  • Trial and Subscription Start: Psylo provides a 3-day trial period for new subscriptions. After the trial, your subscription will automatically commence, and charges will be applied based on the selected subscription plan.
  • Payment Processing: All subscriptions are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Pricing, billing, refunds, and cancellation terms are governed entirely by Apple’s policies.
  • Subscription Details: Psylo generates a unique, random subscription identifier for subscription management purposes only.
  • App Store Region Data: The app receives and stores the region associated with your Apple App Store account. This does not reflect your actual country or residence.
  • Renewals and Cancellation: Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Instructions for cancellation are available through your Apple account settings. Refunds are managed solely by Apple according to their policies.

5. Use of the Service#

Psylo is intended exclusively for creating isolated, privacy-enhanced web browsing sessions. You agree to use the Service lawfully and in compliance with these Terms. Any unauthorized or improper use may lead to immediate termination of your access.

6. User Responsibilities#

  • You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality concerning your subscription details.
  • You agree not to bypass, disable, or interfere with the Service’s security features or functionality.

7. Prohibited Conduct#

You explicitly agree not to:

  • Use Psylo for any unlawful or harmful purposes, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, surveillance, or distribution of malware.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.
  • Engage in activities that could harm, disrupt, degrade, or impair the operation of the Service, including excessive bandwidth use beyond fair usage limits.

8. Data Privacy and Security#

Mysk is committed to your privacy. Our practices include:

  • Data Collected: Only essential operational data is collected: subscription identifiers, App Store region, bandwidth usage statistics, and timestamps.
  • No PII or Website Logs: Psylo does not collect personally identifiable information (PII), IP addresses, or logs of website visits.
  • Security Measures: All browsing traffic is routed securely through the Mysk Private Proxy Network using TLS encryption. The network does not log your IP address, browsing activity, or decrypt traffic.

9. Intellectual Property#

All intellectual property rights relating to the Service and its content are exclusively owned by Mysk Inc. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license solely to use Psylo per these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties#

Psylo is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Mysk disclaims all express or implied warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, or suitability. The uninterrupted, error-free operation of the Service is not guaranteed.

11. Limitation of Liability#

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mysk shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service during the preceding six-month period.

12. Indemnification#

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mysk Inc. and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) resulting from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of Psylo.

13. Modifications to the Terms#

Mysk reserves the right to modify these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on this page along with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

14. Termination#

Mysk may suspend or terminate your access to Psylo at any time without notice if you violate these Terms. No refunds are provided upon termination, as all payment transactions are governed by Apple’s refund policies.

15. Governing Law#

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
